You can be a cowboy, and I can be a punk? What did you just say? Drag The River are an alt-country band from Ft Collins Colorado that are comprised of some veteran punk rockers consisting of All frontman Chad Price, Armchair Martian’s Jon Snodgrass and Casey Prestwood from Hot Rod Circuit. The band has been in existence for about ten years and Its Crazy is their tenth release counting 7”, EPs, and live albums. You might think this would be some punked up rockabilly like a new Supersuckers album but this is more comparable to the Old 97’s. The tracks are catchy, well balanced and make for a great listen. Drag The River may have punk in their blood but they wear the alt-country on their sleeve.
