Thee EmergencyCan You Dig It?
BlueDisguise Records [2006]

Nothing makes me happier than when I come across some solid high-energy garage rock. Seattle’s Thee Emergency is just that. They have a powerful lead vocalist in Dita Vox, and similar to the BellRays style, she takes no prisoners in her delivery. For some street credit, I must mention that the album was produced by famed White Stripes producer, Jim Diamond and recorded in Detroit. Street cred is one thing but how is the music you ask? I found myself toe tapping to every tune and wanting more with each listen. I know an album grabs me when I can’t wait to see the band live. I am sure Thee Emergency rip it up Stooges style. So on a parting note – If you are into the garage rock thing at all - go pick up a copy of Can You Dig It? Trust me – this thing will be in your player for months to come.
