The Swedish band David & The Citizens have landed ashore with their new album Until The Sadness Is Gone. Singer/songwriter David Fridlund formed David & the Citizens back in 1999, and since then have received several awards and hype across Scandinavia and Europe. It is now time to hear what all that fuss was about. Until The Sadness Is Gone is filled with indie pop gems that have confidence and catchiness from the well-seasoned band. There are tracks of all speeds, some fast, some slow, and some in the middle. The connection is that they all have intelligent lyrics, well crafted melodies, and a true sense of honesty –what you hear is what you get. This is one import that will not be leaving my player anytime soon!
