Jason Lytle: Yours Truly, The Commuter

Fire Drill Review:
Yours Truly, The Commuter marks the return of former Grandaddy frontman Jason Lytle to the indie scene with a debut of twelve songs that don't stray too far from his previous band. This should be great news to fans that have been morning the bands dissolvement for two years and the only real stylistic difference is that Lytle now relies on more electronic blips and beats to fill the space. For most of the tracks this works well with Lytle's more behind the scene vocals and the track "Brand New Sun" is as catchy as anything Grandaddy released, so I would say he is on a solid solo start!

Key Track: "Brand New Sun"
