Fire Drill Review:
Love in October return to the scene this week with the release of their self-titled EP. The seven song record has a mixed bag of
disco dance rock and indie pop that has a surprising 2 minute instrumental rock opener in Kära Gud, ge mig en själ..."("Dear God, give me a soul..."). The rest of the EP is fairly straightforward indie rock with a dance twist because Love in October's niche is that they supplement their style with a very hard driving guitar like in "Dance Johannes Kepler" but can still pull it back into the likable and smooth mid tempo "Permutations". This self-titled EP does exactly what you want, by having no filler while still offering catchy short tracks that stick in your head and make you want a full length - that is what Love in October is all about!

Key Track: "Like Nothing Ever Happened"
