Fire Drill Review:
Chase Pagan's new record Bells & Whistles features a unique style of folk and theatrical numbers that create an interesting blend of southern indie flare. Combine this style with Pagan's high falsetto and emotion, you get a record that showcases his multitude of talents - lyrically and vocally. Sometimes on Bells & Whistles the theatrics are a bit over the top and I actually prefer some of Pagan's more folk offerings because too many instruments can outdo his best one - his voice.
