So if you are going to take the energy to remaster and reissue a record why would you put it in the same package. Big Star is a band that so many indie enthusiasts have heard about but probably don't know enough about. These two albums should always be included in any musical history lesson - their substance here is definitely not being attacked because music wise it is a five flamer! How hard would it have been to bring back the original artwork, add some new liner notes and separate these classics out? The tracks sound great and each record includes a bonus track but ultimately this reissue just feels lazy. The good news is that from a mp3 point of view, it was easy enough to separate the albums myself and listen to them the way they were intended - Big Star rocks - this reissue not so much!

Agreed. Both albums were already issued on a single disc so why not separate them with a new reissue. If would be nice to see them with liner notes and the original artwork. I, also, separated them for mp3 purposes.
