Fire Drill Review:
Power pop emo will never go away and Boys Like Girls sophomore record Love Drunk is prime to take the radio and MTV crowd by storm. It is a record that has the capability to appeal to different age groups with its mix of rock and pop. This is never an easy thing to achieve but Boys Like Girls offer a balance, which will fill different needs for different listeners. For the most part Love Drunk is what it is - catchy in parts, such as the stick in your head lead single "Love Drunk", a little too full of emotion at other times, like on the ballad "Two Is Better Than One" with Taylor Swift and ultimately just a fun record to let play and then move on to something else.
