Julie Peel has a great voice, great songs and a stellar new debut album with Near The Sun. Her acoustic indie approach never wears old and you can easily put her up there with some of her influences like Aimee Mann, Beth Orton and Joni Mitchell. Near The Sun has a complete independent spirit throughout, which Julie recorded, mixed, and produced on her own, as well as playing most of the instruments. Julie Peel is an artist that is a true find in a sea of singer/songwriters and Near The Sun will please you from beginning to end!
