Fire Drill Review:
Taking inspiration from Serge Gainsbourg's collaborations with Brigitte Bardot, Yorn and Johansson recorded these nine songs for their duo debut Break Up. You might be weary of this combo but the record is actually entertaining and Johansson supplies quality vocals. With that said, she does not quite have the necessary chops to hit every song out of the park but paired with Yorn it works out OK. What really helps Break Up, is the duo's genuine like of each other that comes through on record and especially makes the single "Relator" memorable and perfect for all types of media, where the album itself might be soon forgotten.
