Fire Drill Review:
I am not sure that when Kid A released in 2000 if everyone immediately got on board with Radiohead's direction. Sure OK Computer [1997] gave you some clue but it still did not prepare you for a record that still sounds progressive today. This was followed by even more experimentation on Amnesiac [2001], while Hail To The Thief [2003] seemed to bring it all back full circle. Radiohead's catalog showcases the evolution of their current high regard and these three collector editions back it up. All three records come with a second cd of material that includes tons of live recordings, remixes and several stray b-sides from the era. These Collector Edition's might be for the more hardcore fan but they really do paint the entire picture of why Radiohead will go down as one of the most beloved and talented groups music has seen!
