Fire Drill Review:
Not sure if our casual reader knows that Holsapple and Stamey were the core songwriters in the ever influential mid 80's power popsters The dB's. Surprisingly enough this is only the second album collaboration between the two, which Here And Now proves to be a shame. The guys harmonies are spot on, the songwriting is top notch and their chemistry shines through track after track. This record was released with very little press and overall Here And Now is a nice listen and a reminder of how easy it is to make a good record when you can write a solid song like Holsapple and Stamey and have a passion to make music!
