Fire Drill Review:
Qu is the third album from the Southern California-based band Sherwood and it relies almost entirely on their knack for a good hook and catchy harmonies. This is a refreshing approach to their breezy song structures as so many groups nowadays in this genre like to dabble with a multitude of sound effects. It is this honest approach to songwriting that makes Qu so infectious and better after every spin. The record was produced by Brad Wood (Smashing Pumpkins, Sunny Day Real Estate) and is easily the bands best and most cohesive record. Right from the opening a capella intro "Shelter", you will be captivated by how this band has evolved and is now ready for prime time!
