Fire Drill Review:
The Summer Set are a young, up-and-coming power pop group from Scottsdale that offer plenty of catchy and cheery songs on their debut record Love Like This. This band definitely will appeal to the younger crowd as they are just out of high school and the lead single is named after JONAS actress Chelsea Staub. To no surprise, many of the tracks lyrical substance are derived from the different aspects of young love that covers all of trials and tributes. The Summer Set on the surface don't seem to offer too much to the indie listener but the overall confidence found in this record sounds legit. The band has already built a large ground root following on the Internet and Love Like This shows some promise for the groups future and being that they are so young it will be interesting to see how it all plays out!
