Fire Drill Review:
This Sydney quartet has been getting some underground buzz lately and it most certainly will continue with the release of their second EP She's So Hard. The band has a very textured sound that reaches out with several atmospheric elements, which are are blended together by the lead vocals of Hayley Mary. Her soaring Tori Amos like style easily steers each track on She's So Hard but it is the bands keyboards and drums that reign her voice into a cool conformity. This balance works well and gives The Jezabels a bit of uniqueness that should help them get noticed a bit more as we flow into 2010 with this solid effort!
