Grab a drink and just sit back!

Album Review:
End Times represents Eels eighth studio release and it arrives just 6 months after their last album Hombre Lobo [2009] but immediately offers a much different style and vibe. Where Hombre was more about reverb and rocking, End Times is all about the quiet and searching out feelings. Where some artists fail trying to change directions, Eels one man, musician, singer-songwriter Mark Oliver Everett excels! This record is no different, as it was inspired by a recent breakup, which is why most of the 14 tracks have a somber tone to them that ooze emotion with every strum of E's guitar. What might seem like a total drag is actually the complete opposite and End Times is one of Eels most focused, consistent and mesmerizing releases to date.

Key Tracks: "A Line In The Dirt", "Paradise Blues", "On My Feet"
