Nite Nite: How To Touch The Moon

Nite Nite
How To Touch The Moon
Self-Released [2010]

Fire Drill Review:
It does not take very many lines into Nite Nite's debut How To Touch The Moon to instantly hear the Blondie and Siouxsie comparisons because lead singer Davis Chatfield not only has the similar vocal chops but also possesses the confident swagger. The Nashville band has both a retro alt sound with their synth-heavy melodies but feels ready for the new decade with their intricate song structures and modern dance rhythms. Overall, Nite Nite don't break any new ground here but they do a very good job of still standing out from their comparison groups and most certainly made How To Touch The Moon a fun and entertaining listen!

Key Track: "Clear As A Bell"
