Nothington: Roads, Bridges & Ruins

Fire Note Says: This is the way we like our punk served!

Album Review:
Look no further to catch a solid punk rock album that was released late last year from the Bay Area's Nothington. Their sophomore record Roads, Bridges & Ruins hits big in every way as the power vocals of lead singer Jay Northington surge forward on each track with a full growling throttle. The strain you hear in his voice rings to the sincerity of this record, as there is no fluff in any of the 3 minute averaged tracks. The four piece presents a completely musically tight record, which is what you want to hear in a good punk record, as the groups layered backup vocals supply every song depth and memorable moments. What Nothington gives you on Roads, Bridges & Ruins is a straight up big-league punk rock record that easily shows why this genre never gets old!
