Fire Drill Review:
This double 180g vinyl only release comes to us from the 2nd edition of Jack White's Third Man Records limited edition Vault packages. It is a straightforward but solid release from Jack and the boys in The Raconteurs from an 08' London show that covers all of their rockers but really showcases the blues undertone of the entire band. This release is definitely for more dedicated followers but even the most casual fan can respect the scorching nine minute plus version of "Blue Veins", their cover version of Charley Jordan's blues staple "Keep It Clean", the "Little Red Rooster" made famous by the Stones and the killer rocking live version of "Salute Your Solution". This release is no longer available from Third Man but you probably can find one on eBay! If you want in on the third edition of the Vault only releases they just re-opened the membership - so hurry because it will close soon!
