In the age of the downloadable single and hitting shuffle mode, it has become more rare to hear a record that was built to be heard in one piece. Sure, every artist would like their audience to stick with their entire record but for San Francisco's Citay, it is essential to hear the eight tracks on Dream Get Together in order to understand the record's context, direction and absorb its epic momentum. I think if you absolutely don't enjoy songs that have "jam" moments, then Citay is not for you but it you are looking for a record that embraces soaring vocals, studio excess, mammoth solo's and thunderous percussion beats then Dream Get Together is a new must for your collection!
