Fire Drill Review:
Inu is the new project from San Francisco-based remixer/ producer, Count (Radiohead, New Order, DJ Shadow) and features Zoe Keating (Imogen Heap, Dresden Dolls) and Tim Hingston (Nyles Lannon). The band has a nice mix of electronic-rock that has an ever building mid-tempo pace, which creates an excitement within each track. Inu has perfect flowing vocals that hover above the music, much like The Postal Service, but then have plenty of strong guitar structures that really set them apart. Monster is the perfect introduction to a band that should have an excellent full length debut in the spring!
