Boston Spaceships: Camera Found The Ray Gun [EP]

Boston Spaceships
Camera Found The Ray Gun [EP]
Jackpot Records [2010]

Fire Drill Review:
Recently Bob Pollard has been hitting on all cylinders and the first Boston Spaceships release in 2010 does nothing to hinder his pace. The four tracks offered on the Camera Found The Ray Gun [EP], all bring a manic energy to tape with an inspired classic British punk undertone. The entire EP comes in just under nine minutes and will vocally remind you of some earlier basement GBV but where it separates itself is its more focused song structures and solid shifting instrumentation from Pollards cohorts Chris Slusarenko and John Moen. For fans, this is a no brainer to pick up and for collector's there is a limited run of 500 vinyl so don't wait - seek out the Boston Spaceships and let them loudly rock out your indie world - again and again!
