Fire Drill Review:
Brooklyn's Fang Island represents why you buy/download/borrow or simply steal music because the excitement that this post-punk group packs into a 30 minute record is enough to keep you rocking for 30 years. What makes the group so interesting on its sophomore album is their ability to come off fractured but whole, deconstructed but yet strong and without chorus but filled with hooks. Fang Island have made a rock record that offers three guitarists, bass and drums but never conforms into any one stereotyped formula, which opens them up to interpretation - that is what makes this album great!
