Chant Darling is the sophomore effort from New Zealand's Lawrence Arabia aka James Milne. It is an album that is full of 60's pop smarts and Beatlesque type harmonies. It are these sing along melodies that give Lawrence Arabia its charm and make Chant Darling an album that is not that easy to put away. It is a record that at first listen might come off more cute then catchy but before you know it, you will be foot tapping along with the sunnier sides of this album and singing along at its high points. Lawrence Arabia knows exactly what they are and with repeat listens Chant Darling becomes completely engaging!
