HoleNobody's Daughter
Mercury Records [2010]

Fire Drill Review:
I will be the first to admit, I really wanted this record to rock my ass off. Unfortunately, that didn't happen as Nobody's Daughter feels more like a Courtney Love retread with very little substance. The first error here was not bringing back original members Eric Erlandson and Melissa Auf der Maur. They provided the punch to Love's well-known snarl and even with the help of songwriters Linda Perry and Billy Corgan, too many tracks fall short of being memorable. Nobody's Daughter is actually full of potential and it is not a total lost but still suffers from the over tweaking and delays the songs went through to get here. At the end of the day, Hole and Courtney Love solo are synonymous and nothing on Nobody's Daughter will consistently have you coming back, so just go pull out Live Through This [1994] and start to reminisce.
