You could not ask for a more sonic experience on Melissa Auf Der Maur's sophomore solo album Out Of Our Minds. If fact, this project is independently produced, conceptually about Vikings and does not only include the record but is just one piece that also adds a short film, comic book, live performances and gallery presentations to the package. The former Hole bass player has matured as a solo artist since her 2004 debut and you can tell that each track on Out Of Our Minds was well thought out and put together with an ultimate precision. Out Of Our Minds is a combination of 90's alternative rock and modern day smoothness that holds up to repeat spins and showcases Auf Der Maur as both a talented musician and singer, plus the spooky ballad duet with Misfit goth man Glenn Danzig is worth the price of admission!
