White Fence: White Fence

White Fence
White Fence
Woodsist Records [2010]

Fire Drill Review:
When he gets a break from Darker My Love, Tim Presley has time to concentrate on his one man show side project White Fence. His self-titled debut is a lo-fi psychedelic gem of a record that has a timelessness to it which enables it to succeed. The playing at times seems elementary, the vocals are not always in tune and sometimes the songs are just a bit odd but at its conclusion you go back for more because its raw honest approach will hit a nerve and White Fence simply wins you over. It is one of those records that you absolutely have no expectation for and it blows you away with its loose style, while maintaining a complete lo-fi focused indie vibe. This is the type of record everyone wishes they could make in their basement - too bad Tim and his White Fence beat everybody to it!

Key Track: "Who Feels Right?"
