The Seedy Seeds: Roll Deep [EP]

The Seedy Seeds
Roll Deep [EP]
Eurodorable Recordings [2010]

Fire Drill Review:
We have never held back our admiration for Cincinnati band The Seedy Seeds and on their new Roll Deep EP the group absolutely does not disappoint. The first big difference you will find here is that lead track "We Are Missing" runs over the six minute mark, which is a first for the band, as their typical electro-folk number falls in the three to four minute zone. What is consistent on all three tracks is the warmth of Margaret Darling and Mike Ingram’s vocal interplay and harmonies that boost each track to the next level. This combo always makes for an upbeat listen and feel good vibe upon its conclusion. This is a band that I guarantee only takes a few listens to get hooked and this EP should definitely drive you back to their previous records as we look forward to a new long player!
