It always amazes me a bit when a group can still make music today that seems to push the limits. This especially seems true when you are talking about the Electronica genre but Crystal Castles is definitely one of those groups that still succeeds. Their sophomore and second self-titled album is another full blown experiment of noise that is a winner on all levels. The beats hit hard, the hooks grab you and there is an edge here that both pushes you away and pulls you in. It is this entire package that makes Crystal Castles unique and this sophomore record another lesson to any band thinking of getting in the game - this is how you do it!
