Fire Drill Review:
This self-titled sophomore album from the Lancaster, Pennsylvania trio Good Old War is a testament to how superb an album can be when you focus on the basics. There is nothing that immediately stands out or is incredibly flashy on this record but as you absorb each track, you realize that is exactly the point. The harmonies are tight, the instruments supply just the right backdrop and the lyrics are purposeful and telling. All of this combines for 36 minutes of a solid band's work and they are called Good Old War!
