Danger RadioNothing's Gonna Hold Us Down
Doghouse Records [2010]

Fire Drill Review:
Danger Radio is a perfect example of a descent band that suffers from a lack of direction. Their Doghouse Records debut has a very care free attitude that has a mix of dance, rock and pop but never totally settles in on a consistent undertone that holds all the songs together. Ballad "Alibis" could be featured on AA stations, while other tracks fall into a more Maroon 5 category. On the upbeat title track and more guitar heavy "Build It Up", Danger Radio have a Panic At The Disco streak in them, which I believe fits the best. If the group can direct their skill toward that sound in the future and funnel their other stylistic likes into background support, Danger Radio might have something that completely works on their next outing.
