Face To Face: Laugh Now... Laugh Later

Face To Face
Laugh Now... Laugh Later
People Like You Records [2011]

Fire Note Says: A solid welcome back record from 90's Southern Cal punk rockers Face To Face!

Album Review:
Nine years have passed since we have seen a new record from 90's punk staples Face To Face and Laugh Now... Laugh Later quickly shows that the band has not forgotten how to make a catchy record. Right from the energetic opener "Should Anything Go Wrong", Face To Face launch into the album like it is 1992 again complete with melodic crunching guitar work, gang call out vocals and plenty of three minute punk pop nuggets. Frontman Trever Keith has not lost one ounce of growl from his voice, as he drives the 11 tracks found here and the rest of the band chimes in perfectly on quickly timed numbers like "Bombs Away" and "Blood In The Water". The interesting thing you soon realize after listening to Laugh Now is that this type of punk rock is not near as prevalent in today's scene, so hearing Face To Face is a refreshing listen that honorably represents a genre that has been around for ages and as long as bands like Face To Face give an honest effort like Laugh Now... Laugh Later - it will be around for many more years to come!

Key Tracks: "It's Not All About You", "Bombs Away", "Under The Wreckage"
