You might think that the iTunes Sessions series might be a way to grab your cash but so far these offerings have been very rewarding and the new one from Seattle's The Head And The Heart is another solid recording to add to the collection. The band spent a full day laying down these eight songs, which includes an excellent alternate version of their single “Lost In My Mind” and the two new tracks, "When I Fall Asleep" and "Ever Since", that are part of their current live show. The Head And The Heart have been building lots of steam along with the current neo-folk movement and this quality EP is not only a nice addition for fans but also could serve as a perfect introduction to anyone new.
